Lightweight, but extremely strong, and tiny. How they do it, I do not know, but its worth every $ I paid for it.

I take a lot pics of items where flash is not wanted/no good and this is steady enough and much quicker to work with than a tripod

Bottom tip can be rubber or turned with a spike instead of rubber. Attractive design and great for the price.

I bought the monopod for my 30x70 giant binoculars and a camera. It workes fine for both, although with 4.5lb binos it is a strech. But given its light weight and a price it is a no-brainer.
