Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Release Plate for the F-1 Ball Head:

This is a really nice plate. It measures 50x39x10mm and comes in a velour, drawstring pouch with a hex wrench. I do wish the plate were bi-directional though. It would be easy for whomever manufactures these plates to add bevels to the other sides of the base. Still, it's a bargain and a much nicer plate than I expected for the $$.

Extra Release Plate for my tele lens

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Release Plate for the F-1 Ball Head:

I added this extra plate to my order so that I could attach it to my 200-500 zoom lens. I consider it more of a convenience item. It is solid and does have a safety catch incorporated so that the lens or camera assembly can't accidently slide off the tripod.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint Quick Release Plate for the F-1 Ball Head:

I use this on an Adorama f-2 ball head. I added this to my Canon 100-400 telephoto zoom lense. I just leave it on all the time so I can mount the body, or lense on the tripod. [...]
