I love to get down and dirty with the creatures near the ground. The great flexability this ball head provides is wonderful. I can get the lens front in any angle needed for outstanding macro work. It's amazing just how much weight this head can support given its diminutive size. It can easily handle a 300mm f2.8 on a Pro body, even tilted at 45 degrees! Exceptional construction, with easy access to all areas for cleaning. It's a brilliant design, and one of the most versatile items I've come across in 38 years behind the camera. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
