Comments about Davis & Sanford Davis & Sanford Vista Voyager Lite, Aluminum Tripod with BHQ8 Ball Head, Maximum Height 63", 8 LB Load Capacity.:

I was so excited that I could get a ball head tripod for under $100. I've had this tripod for about six months and it works well. It's easy to set up & take down. It even folds up small enough to put in a backback, but it totally creeps. When you tighten up the knob it falls about a 1/3 or a 1/2 of an inch. Such a pain when you finally have the perfect composition and the tripod drops!!!

Comments about Davis & Sanford Davis & Sanford Vista Voyager Lite, Aluminum Tripod with BHQ8 Ball Head, Maximum Height 63", 8 LB Load Capacity.:

I purchased this after destroying another more expensive triod (fell out of my bike panier whilst going downhill at 40mph). I was so pleasantly suprised about how strong this thing is. It will easily hold an SLR, flash, and big wide lense... even vertically! Buy this first, and skip anything else under 120 bucks.

Comments about Davis & Sanford Davis & Sanford Vista Voyager Lite, Aluminum Tripod with BHQ8 Ball Head, Maximum Height 63", 8 LB Load Capacity.:

Seems to be adequately stable for the size and weight. The only problem I have encountered is that several of the leg sections have extremely tight, stiff extensions. I haven't used it much so they may loosen up with use.
