I bought it for use with my binoculars. It is great for looking at the stars at night. But as an added bonus I have a Canon T70 35mm and a Power Shot S2IS that work very with it. I would definitely recommend this product. It supports the weight as stated in the description. The clamps work very nicely.

I liked the fit aand finish of this tripod. It levels very easily and I use it for night shots. Pretty good quality for the money.
