I bought this item for my cameras and love it. This tripod is lightweight and easy to carry. It fit with my IXUS but not for EOS. So, I not recommend this item for DSLR user.

I bought this tripod for my wife. She shoots a Canon PowerShot S3 is. She uses the tripod to mount the camera and keep it aimed at birdfeeders as she waits. For this size camera this is an excellent tripod! It does the job at a terrific price.
