Compacts just a bit larger than my last aluminum manfrotto but wieghs a quarter of it. This thing wieghs nothing and is super durable, the leveling ball built in has been extremely usefull on uneven terain. can re attach the center vertical mounting rod to a horizontal position for great macro set up. this is the last tripod i will buy. Perfect product.
