The tri-pod legs extend easily and lock easily. The ball head (Flashpoint F3)screws on to the tripod head, holding with just friction. This might be a problem with a heavy lens in the vertical position. The level on the tri-pod is a joke. It doesn't work. The carry bag that is included isn't long enough to allow the ball head inside the bag. It hangs out the end. Take it off after every use?

I use a dslr with this tripod for portrait and landscape photos. It sets up quickly and easily. I purchased the tripod with the F-3 ball head and found it a very good marriage of head to tripod, facilitating great landscape panoramic shots.

This tripod is a GIFT of GREATNESS. It exceeds the expectations of the high priced tripods of 700.00. This tripod securely holds a great amount of equipment that I sometimes pile on it with absolutely no wavering. To say that I'm impressed is not saying enough ! OUTSTANDING !!!

What can you say about a tripod? This one is sturdy, relatively lightweight, and easy to erect. It comes with written instructions but they are unnecessary which is just as well because they're in Chinese/English e.g. "1. Thank you for using our product, except for illumination, please read other handbook. (There was no handbook.) 2. Be careful about the product' max burth..." Apart from this minor criticism I think I got what I paid for at an ok price even after freight.

I was looking for a Carbon Fibre Tripod and Mono-Pod. Bought both. A great value, I lookes at the Gitzo and Slik, they were way more expencive and didn't look any better. The Similar Gitzo was about [$]I believe, I may beexagerating a little bit. However, I really like my F-1328.

I use the tripod mostly for outdoor and on locations portraits, weddings, commercial jobs.
I like its lightweight and small design. Quick to set up and take back down.
I would like to see a bit more rigidity in it, especially when fully extended.
