I am very impressed with the quality of this product. Overall I am very impressed with Giottos. I feel confident using their products to stabilize my camera and lenses.I have only used the tripod in a dry run at my home. I have no worries when I am ready to take this tripod in the field.I choice twist legs over latch legs since I do a fair amount of winter shooting. The latch legs seem to get too brittle in sub-zero temps.Purchase Giottos products and I am confident you will not be disappointed.Scott Denny[@]

Absolute great tripod! I'm 1.85 meter (over 6 feet?) and I can use this tripod without extending the center column at all. The multipositioning of the center column is fabulous. In combination with a ballhead and a 3-way head (for different purposes) the versatility and sturdiness is unbelievable. Definitely the right choice for me.
