I use this tripod for everyday general use, outside in bad weather or inside. For the price its well built and looks great. The MT9251 are just the right size for me, not too big to carry and big enough to be stable. They do not fold down as much as 3 section legs and weigh a bit more than carbon. But overall they are light enough and strong enough and short enough, to be just right for most people under 6' tall. And that do not carry them all day for a living. Also the twist type leg locks are faster than you may think because you can un-tighten or re-tighten both locks on a leg at the same time.
