The Gt3330LS tripod build quality is excellent.
No center column makes it all the more stable.
I'm 6'4" tall and with the ball head and camera attached the viewfinder is just at the right height for me when the legs are fully extended. With the Markins M20 sitting on top of this tripod I can see a marked improvement in my photos. I highly recommend this tripod, to anyone looking for a well built tripod.

I already had a Gitzo GT3541LS for long walks. I added the fabulous GT3330LS as it had all the features of the Carbon Fibre except that it was only one kilograms heavier.I use the 3330LS mostly indoors for precision work, e.g. macro, combined with the precise Gitzo geared column and Manfrotto 405 Geared head. What more could you want?
