Comments about Velbon Velbon El Carmagne 640 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Pan Head & Case, Height 8.6" - 64.8", Maximum Load 13.2 lbs.:
Sturdy and stable enough to attach a 13 oz. camera plus an adapter for digiscoping. Light enough to carry on long hikes. I've had this tripod for almost three years now and it's as good as new.

Although a bit heavy, it carries easily both folded in its case and open with the camera attached. Quite stable. Easy to adjust.
