This is one of the best and most useful mounting plates made. The adjustable/sliding plate keeps the camera from rotating when shifted for vertical pictures or when tilted. As such, you do NOT have to overtighten the screw to keep the camera from shifting around. I also use the smaller 3157NR plate which has the same features.
