Tripod leg covers are indispensable to me since I often carry the extended tripod against my shoulder. They also provide a nice grip. These replaced other covers that were longer with a fine sock-like elastic fabric stretched over their surface. The fabric was too long and didn't "tuck in" like it was supposed to. These are trouble-free, fit snugly, and are just what the tripod-doctor ordered!
