Good all round - easy to use adventure companion

Should come in fluro colours - preferably stripes.

Drop this black baby in the drink and you will NEVER find it.

Great camera, I read all the instructions (unusual for me) the functions are clear and the pictures turn out great. This is a good point and shoot. I especially like that it doesn't rely on a flimsy plastic housing to remain water tight. I saw the camera in Jamaica and was sold on its solid construction.[...]

Works good with excellent features
By espiiVerified Reviewer from Boulder Co. on 1/21/2008
Pros:
Easy To Use, Functional
Cons:
only battery life
Best Uses:
backpacking
Describe Yourself:
Professional
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I use this camera as a time laspe camera. It is light amoured and very good. You can turn off auto balence. Just a great little camera. Needs a little more battery life. With the use of energizer e2 lithiums it will take about 1000 pictures depending on the complexity of the scene. So I leave it on a tripod out by it self
for a day or 2 aimed at my subject and I get a beautiful time laspe sequences when placeed in my non linear editor. Rugged well made little camera
excellent pictures, needs a more sensitive detector and longer battery life. I think you can use larger memory sticks you will just run out of batteries before you use it up.

I've had it a few weeks and no problems, so far. I previously ordered the SL 321 which malfunctioned right out of the box, so I tried the deeper-diving version with no problems , yet.
