No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I was psyched to try an underwater camera at this fantastic price. Due to an ordering snafu, I wound up getting a duplicate order, which worked out OK cause we gave cameras to other members of our party (we were traveling in a group to the Bahamas).
Neither of the two cameras purchased worked! They didn't take one picture. Such a bummer.
