Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I just received the product today. Looks just like the picture. It is bulky (as was expected) and light. The User's Guide is in multi-languages, including English, but the other documentation is all in Japanese and I have no idea how to read it. It does come with a warranty for all areas, which is a good thing. I will test this over the weekend (in my bath), to make sure that it is indeed waterproof, prior to going on my trip. I will update this once I have tested it.
