The SL962 works perfectly with my SL960 Flash. It comes with a 3M Hook & Loop assembly (Like Heavy Duty Velcro) that allows the optic cable to attach directly onto the underwater case, right over the area where my camera's flash is. I don't own a Sea Life Digital Camera but rather a Canon A570is. The Canon must be set to Manual in order for it to work but the SL962 cable syncs up the flash just fine. Fiber Optic cable in general is inherently fragile so I did add a protective sleve over the flash link cable however, it really wasn't necessary. I highly recommend this accessory if you have a SL960 / SL961 flash. Check out my use of the SL962 on Flickr. Just type in SL960 or EODMAN. I hoped this helps.
