No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I sent it to Canon repair center in Irvine and they quickly returned it. On the same day the issue of having a circle right in the middle of the picture when selecting 24mm was still around. I took many pictures and burnt to a cd for them. Called them back and sent to them again. To my surprise, they rejected without having checked the lens. IS THIS A CANON WAY FOR REPAIR?
DON'T BUY THIS LENS.
From now on, all my canon gears will be listed on Ebay. NEVER CANON AGAIN and I HAVE BEEN USING CANON PRODUCTS SINCE 1980.
