What can I say - the Maxxum (Dynax) 600si is "simply" a magnificent camera. I use it for parties, beach, day-trips, the park, etc...
What I LOVE:
Size, weight, balance, styling.
Big bright viewfinder.
Controls and layout are pretty much perfect.
Metering is accurate and flexible.
Autofocus is pretty good.
NOT so crazy about:
Noisy DOF preview (I hardly use it anyway).
Autofocus could be faster.
Bottom Line:
This is a "poor mans Maxxum 7" - you get most of the good stuff and save a bundle. If you can afford a nice clean 7 go for it, otherwise this is your camera!
