I shoot weddings with my K10D and love it! It takes great pictures, but what makes it better than the K100D (also a fantastic camera) is all the switches on the body so that you can access the thousands of features it has! You can customize this camera to death!! It has 3 metering modes, 3 AF modes, large viewfinder (even better with the optional magnifier attached), bracketing button, unique multiple exposure mode, shake reduction (works very well), dust removal, compatibility with all K mount lenses A, F, FA, DA, and more! (limited compatibility with screw mount & older K mount), two mode dials, and too much more to mention!! With the latest firmware you can also control an off camera flash wirelessly with the camera's built in falsh! Slightly more noise than the K100D (more Megapixles in the same area = more noise), and pictures a little soft, but if processed from RAW in photoshop they're potentially sharper than a Canon EOS 30D!! Also, skip the kit lens in favor of the 16-45 f4.0, a much better lens for just a little more money. No camera is 100% perfect... but with the K10D you can't get much closer! Especially for under a grand!! Also... don't skip the battery grip, holds an extra battery, SD card and a place for the wireless romote! Don't think another second! THIS IS A GREAT CAMERA!!! Join the club! Be proud to shoot Pentax!!
