One of my favourite mikes in my collection, next to Neumann U87 and Charter Oak E700. Very smooth on tenor and alt sax, clarinet, horns and voices: singing and voice-over. Very quiet mike, heard a slight noise, which came from the pre-amp, not from he KSM44. Very solid construction, good suspension, beautiful storage case. Highly recommended.
