This led light is excellent. I have a charger that can charge regular alkaline batteries. after charging the batteries i put them in the led light and they last at least 90mins. I don't know how other more expensive led lights in this category can cost much more. I must admit, it does flicker when the dimmer setting is at the hightest setting. However, I simply turned the dimmer down a notch and the flickering was gone. Yet, it continued to give great light coverage. the price of the unit, it gives great light coverage within a 20ft range and good light source within a 30ft range. There are other light sources available that come with a battery pack, but power availabitity is about 60-90mins. This light does that without an additional battery pack, battery weight, and straps. If you are still using a mini dv recorder, you can beef up the performance and appearance of your recorder with this led light unit. It will really help with your presentation when appearing to video tape someone's wedding among a large audience.

I recommend this light hands down. I'm currently thinking of an excuse to purchase another one.

Note: when installing the batteries, make sure the dimmer switch is turned down to the lowest setting. If the dimmer is turned up during the installation of the batteries, the light may not come on until the dimmer dial has been turned down and then turned-up
