Good camera but editing an issue.

Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Large Clear LCD

I was not aware that the video files the camera records in would be problematic when importing into video editing systems. The files are recorded in AVCHD format so I had to convert the files first before editing. I tried several video converting programs before I found one that could convert the AVCHD files. Time consuming. I'm annoyed that I have to do this with everything I record.
