In my first exposure to the system, I found it easy to get the Canon high def balanced. I had no problems even at full zoom while moving around a room. The recordings were flowing smoothly as I moved. The hardware has smooth bearings, and springs for up to 7 lb camers. Very easy assembly. Not sure how well it would have fit if had stayed 110 pounds heavier than I am now.
