Tape Eater!

After having it eat three tapes I am looking for something of a bit more quality. This thing (and it goes by many names - mine is a dv-90) is a piece of junk. One damaged tape is too much and I excused it as the tape quality - NOT! - wife used it twice and it ate both from her - Pure junk - keep looking!

Cover is translucent, thus not being able to see the progress of the rewind. It takes two hands to open the cover.
