The Safariland Hemascein ABAcard P30 Test is a test to identify semen at a crime scene. The kit is stored at room temperature and has a shelf life as long as 20 months. No additional equipment is required. The results are obtained in as little as 2 minutes. Stains as old as 23 years old have been tested positive with it and no special training is required to use it. It requires as little as 0.25 cm2 stain thus leaving enough evidence samples for further analysis.

Even though a miniscule sample is required, the test is packaged such that the extract can be preserved for years for further analysis.
