Nice add on
Previous use of an Omni Bounce with an SB-400 led me to purchase same for the SB-700. A bit easier to attach than the diffuser that comes with the SB-700 and seems provides a bit warmer light. Works well in small to medium sized rooms with low ceilings (8-10 ft).
Have also used to bounce light outdoors. I do a bit of angling photography and am often shooting on boats with white decks and/or bulkheads. The StoFen, in conjunction with some thoughtful flash and camera positioning helps in some fill situations by bouncing light off of these surfaces into shadowed areas.

SB-700 Sto-Fen
I had used a StoFen for my SB600 that served me well for years, automatically purchsed one when I ordered the SB-700. I probably would not have purchased one if I knew that Nikon included 3 clip on light diffusers with the SB-700. Nothing against the Sto-Fen but the clear Nikon diffuser produces what I believe are the same results, and they are included with the flash...
