The Sharp PG-D3050W 3D Ready Short Throw WXGA DLP Projector is a powerful corporate, educational or home theater projector which can display 720p/1080i high-definition images that light up a screen with an impressive 3000 lumens at a crisp 2000:1 contrast ratio. Power like this is more than enough to meet the challenge of high ambient light locations. A special short throw lens enables a diagonal image size of 60" from a distance of only 37". You can position the unit up front and center in cramped spaces without fear that your audience will be intruding into the light beam.

The PG-D3050W offers 3D support with both 60 Hz and 120 Hz XGA and SVGA sources, as well as standard 2D content. Now you can add an immersive feeling of depth to your educational, corporate or architectural presentations to make them truly distinctive.

You'll also get remarkably vivid and saturated color courtesy of BrilliantColor, which increases color accuracy while it increases color brightness by up to 50% over panels without it. In addition to red, green and blue, its spectrum includes their complements: cyan, magenta and yellow. What's more, DLP projectors require no filters that have to be cleaned and replaced. The projector runs quieter (30 dB) and lamps last longer (up to 5000 hours), minimizing downtime.

No projection screen? No problem. At only 6.2 lbs this projector may get around your facility and chances are you'll have to use a less than optimal wall for a screen at some point. Wall Color Screen Adjustment Function corrects for most hues, as well as blackboard/whiteboard.

The PG-D3050W's wide connectivity includes HDMI, S-video and composite as well as a stereo audio line-out to balance external speaker levels with the built-in 7 W projector system. Audio Pass Through allows you to use the audio output even when the unit is in standby mode. An LAN connector allows for remote operation, messaging and monitoring using the free downloadable Sharp Display Manager software. Other convenience features include enhanced anti-theft measures, sliding lens cover, safety shutter door on the lamp housing and a remote with laser pointer, spotlight and mouse control.
