With 4000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 2200:1 contrast ratio the WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution Sharp PG-D40W3D DLP 3-D Projector has the projection power to display large images in well-lit rooms. In addition to being bright, those images will be vivid and beautiful thanks to the PG-D40W3D's Texas Instruments DLP DMD imaging chip, the part that forms the picture. TI's DLP chip with BrilliantColor creates vibrant, true-to-life colors that seem to jump off the screen.

If you've got compatible 3-D PC-based source material and compatible 3-D glasses those true-to-life colors will really seem to jump off the screen. The 3-D revolution is here and your D40W3D is ready to bring you everything from 3-D games to fantastic scientific visualizations. Of course your D40W3D can also project 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition images. What's more, it can also accept and project video signals in the NTSC, PAL and SECAM standards. And it's got a 100 - 240 50/60 Hz power supply to round out its international capabilities. Your D40W3D is no slouch in the audio department either. In addition to two 5 W stereo speakers it's also got a 3.5 mm mini jack for your choice of fixed or variable audio out.
br>Thanks to its RJ-45 jack your D40W3D is network ready. Remote diagnostics enable you to monitor and make adjustments to the projector remotely. In fact, the projector has its own built-in HTTP page for control and monitoring over a LAN. And it can even email when certain conditions are detected, like its lamp nearing the end of its useful life. The Sharp PG-D40W3D DLP 3-D Projector is colorful, powerful and compatible.
