The Swarovski Optik S3 Snap Shot Adapter is compatible with the 42 mm EL Swarovision binocular. This clever device allows the viewer to connect a digital camera to the binocular for digiscoping purposes. When the binocular is attached to the camera - it becomes a powerful telephoto lens. The Snap Shot Adapter replaces the binocular's eye cup - once assembled into place, the adapter provides a friction-fit attachment point for the digital camera's telescoping lens. The camera should have a 4x optical zoom.

Other features that can be helpful are; manual focus or infinity mode, manual/aperture priority exposure modes. Selecting the camera's largest aperture and setting the focus to infinity will yield excellent results.
