About SLR Magic 11mm F/1.4 Mirrorless

The SLR Magic x Toy Lens 11mm f/1.4 is a standard focal length lens that is compatible with all Micor 4/3 cameras. The field of view corresponds to a 60mm lens in 35mm format. The fast aperture combined with the close minimum focus distance of this lens allows for pleasing shallow depth of field effect and is a joy to use.

Questions about this item:

Loic M  I have a Panasonic GX1, does this lens work with it ? And if it does, do I need to turn off the "Shoot w/ lens" mode ?
PAUL H  Yes. It's a M4/3 Lens, as the GX1. Yes, It's a manual lens.
Shopper  The description says "The field of view corresponds to a 60mm lens in 35mm format". This obviously can't be right, since the crop factor for Micro 4:3 is about 2.0. Either the description is wrong, or this isn't an 11mm lens. Which is it?
DANIEL T  it is an 11mm lens, so for MFT the equivalent is 22mm
Shopper  Can this be used with Sony NEX 7 camera? What adapter is required?
Andrew R  Unfortunately no, this lens is not compatible with Sony "E" mount cameras. SLR Magic does offer a product for the Sony "E" mount cameras ( http://www.adorama.com/SLRT28E.html ) however there does not appear to be an adapter to make the product in this listing work for you.
