I bought this because I already own the WR11 and like it a lot, needed another radio for a cabin where I'll sit around enjoying music. I was a little worried because early reviews reported problems - these seem to be fixed, at least in the radio I received. Sound is good, on the whole better than the WR11 (more balanced, though I sometimes miss the enforced warmth of the 11). I've been trying to decide if it's weak in the lower mid-tones, as reported - maybe, once or twice I've caught myself playing with the bass knob. But if so it doesn't ruin it, at all. It has a lot of power, can fill a room, and the stereo vs mono makes a subtle but appreciable difference. The features are better - bass and treble control, and a switch for Aux and bluetooth (WR11 over-rides radio as soon as an Aux cord is plugged in). Both these radios are pretty good value for money. I wouldn't describe myself as an audiophile, but music is important to me, and I'm happy with my listening experience on the WR12. I would recommend it if you're looking for a compact unit with decent sound, and you like the style (I do).
