About Sonnet DX800RAID

The Sonnet Fusion DX800RAID Storage System with Controller (24TB) features eight 3TB Enterprise/RAID drive modules and supports single-stream capturing and playback of 2K (2048 x 1556) LOG RGB data and uncompressed 10-bit HD data with 1080 4:4:4 resolution. It also supports multiple streams of ProRes 422 HD and uncompressed 8-bit 1080 HD. With an internal SAS expander, you can connect up to16 DX800RAID enclosures to a single Sonnet RAID controller card.

Supporting RAID levels 4, 5, 6 and DVRAID, the DX800RAID Storage System offers high-data protection in case of drive failure. In addition to drive activity, drive presence, power and link LED indicators, the unit is equipped with SES (SCSI Enclosure Services) and S.M.A.R.T. data reporting that offers real-time monitoring of enclosure and drives. The noiseless fans keep the temperature of the unit within safe limits. You can expand the storage capacity of the system by connecting it to a Fusion DX800RAID Expansion system.
