Sonnet 3TB F3 Portable Desktop 2-Drive RAID Storage System with Quad Interface, Elegant Design, Versatile Storage

The 3TB Fusion F3 Portable Hard Drive Array from Sonnet is a portable RAID storage system. The array, which operates on standard AC wall power, is compact enough for field use. It can also be used in a desktop operating environment, or installed in an equipment rack via an optional rackmount kit.

Its hardware RAID controller does not require a computer to operate, allowing you to directly connect the Fusion F3 to an audio interface via FireWire. It can be configured as a RAID 0 for maximum performance, a RAID 1 for redundancy, or a JBOD. The array uses high-performance 3.5" SATA disks for storage. It is capable of sustained transfer rates up to 200MB/sec when configured as a RAID 0 or up to 105MB/sec when configured as a RAID 1.

The array can connect to a computer via eSATA, FireWire-800, FireWire-400, or USB 2.0. It is compatible with Mac or Windows computer systems. It uses an internal power supply, which eliminates the need for a bulky "wall wart" AC adapter.
