Super Bluray Unit
Brilliant bluray /dvd player. Bought the Sony player to complement my Sony Bravia tv.

Stopped working after a few months
Worked fine for eight months then stopped out of the blue and wouldn't play anything. No help from Sony who just referred me to point of purchase (unknown as was a gift).

Bought this last year my blue rays were just sitting there gathering dust seen this player at bargain price the rest is history so to speak

Great product, for the size of the box.
I bought product two weeks ago, and i am glad i did it has it has made my non blu ray discs look better than before.

blu ray excellent.....but........
I bought it from a secondhand shop and although the blu ray is excellent I found the free internet content mainly disappointing. Great value even if you buy new!!!!!

Good looking player that does its job.
Bought this a month ago. Does good job with picture and sound. Looks good and surprisingly small. Rather complex procedure for changing coding for BluRay which is only explained in a scrappy little note hidden away in the packaging. Not really what one would expect from Sony.

Easy to use
We bought this player as a replacement when we purchased a flat screen HD TV and soundbar. It's so simple even the wife has mastered how to use it!!

Incredible player!!
Purchased this as a Xmas gift for my film loving wife and its just perfect. Superb picture, sound and features. Excellent value for money player. You cannot go wrong with this. 10/10

Just works
Now had this for several months. Fits neatly in TV cabinet with other boxes. When switched on picked up immediately Bravia Smart TV. No problems with any DVD variant, just load and it plays.

Brilliant in Every Respect Except One
I have have this blue-ray player for several months now and it has performed flawlessly. Excellent sound and picture quality even when playing standard DVD's.
and the quiet motor does not distract viewing pleasure.
The funky design with it's shiny black finish would enhance any room.
Once I plugged in an ethernet cable this player offered an inexpensive way to convert my TV to a Smart one. Opening up a gate-way to effortless HD streaming of Netflix, Lovefilm, plus catch-up like BBC iplayer, also Facebook, YouTube, and World Web radio, etc.
One niggle and not a minor one, Sony have still not resolved the fact that this player will not receive channel 4's On-Demand service.
Apart from this I would give it full marks.
