had this camcorder for 3yrs, happy with it, once its dark forget it. flash accessories are expensive and drains batteries

It is a wonderful camera.It also has a zoom. I used it to sent wonderful images to the computer.

I've owned my 810 for a little over 2 years and i use it quite frequently. it has never let me down, especially since i have a back up battery. the only flaws I've encountered were the nonexistence of a night light and a standard mic input. which means you have to buy the specific light and mic.

This Cam can be used with lots of ease. But only problem is at night we cant take any pictures or video as this doesn't have any flash light or night mode. This is a major set back.

This is an absoultely perfect all around video recorder and still picture instrument. I actually purchased it for the filming ability, but have discovered that it takes fantastic still photographs. This is the best camcorder/camera I have ever owned and would highly recommend it to everyone.

The best gift I have gotten in years. I will use my camcorder all year long. It was easy to use right out the box I used it Christmas day and created a dvd for freinds and family. I can't say it enough how much I love it love it. Any one looking to get a camcorder look at Sony.

I really like this camera and its easy to operate. The recording format is too short only 30 min. I have an underwater housing for the camera also and cannot wait to get it into the water. Recorded Christmas with it and a Hi-8 Sony camera along with my Sony DSC-F828. Going to see if I can format all of them into one Movie... Thanks Sony!!!!!!

Good Price. Recommended Product among any other of the same line. Seems to be better than DVD610, DVD710, DVD910 due to the memory capability/options. Night Shooting is good as well. It's like an HD Camcorder but less than half the price.
