About Sony DR-BTN200

The Sony rechargeable DR-BTN200 Headphones (White) are designed to provide a high-quality music listening experience along with wireless connectivity when used with your Bluetooth enabled smartphone, tablet or computer. Engineered for an enhanced low frequency response, the DR-BTN200Ms make use of 30mm dynamic drivers. They also employ an over-the-ear design that helps to maximize isolation from outside sound and keep your music from disturbing others.

The DR-BTN200M headphones also feature one-touch pairing with any NFC (Near Field Communication) enabled device. This works by simply touching the left headphone to the back of your smartphone or tablet. This is a convenient alternative to standard Bluetooth pairing that can be taken advantage of if your device supports this function. The headphones also support multipoint Bluetooth connectivity that allows them to remain paired with several devices. This handy feature allows for quick sound source changes and prevents you from having to re-pair with a device every time you want to use it.

In addition, the headphones are also equipped with several remote buttons that are located on the exterior of the earcups. Volume, track skip, play and pause can all be controlled wirelessly and phone calls may be answered or ended. You can also use the built-in microphone for hands-free conversations whether you're on-the-go or relaxing at home.

DR-BTN200/WHITE pair - NO mute button

By

from va

The headphones work perfectly the sound quality is nice and clear. The NFC functions great with my blackberry storm. The volume is just right, They do hurt my ears a little bit but thats just because i'm breaking them in. Normally after 2 hours of wear it hurts a little. Everyone i demoed to wants a pair. One feature is missing. MUTE !! you cannot mute the microphone when a call comes in. Yep the other party will hear you going to the bathroom lol. If you could mute microphone then these would get a 100%. Instead they recieve a 95%. I like the fact I can control my music. though I think they made the buttons backward. the one that by instinct you would push for next track is actually previous track. Again I love them. Paired with my sony HWS-BTA2W bluetooth transmitter/reciever I now have wireless headphones for my TV and can take a call while watching tv.

Not comfortable for long usuage

Not good for long usage. Round ear cushion causes stress over the ears. But sound quality is good.

Awesome portability

By

I have been using the headset for about a week now without any problems whatsoever. First of all I want to say that the sound curve for these headphones is quite flat, meaning that they don't distort the music so much. They also respond really well to any equalizer you might use on your computer/android which is awesome for some genres where you want that extra bass. Overall I have had no problems in conversations on my cellphone and the other part can here me just fine. The NFC pairing makes it really quick to change which device you want to use it with, I can easily switch between my nexus 7 and HTC one thanks to that, and the Multipoint connection allows it to stay connected to two devices which allows one of them to take over at any point as well. Really practical! There are a few bad things I can think of and one is that when the battery is dead you can't use the headphones until they are charged due to the lack of a 3,5mm port but then again, these are made for bluetooth and they do that really well. The other bad thing is that you can't really use them together with glasses because they add some pressure to the ears and makes it uncomfortable to use together with glasses. Besides those two points I would say that it's a buy for anyone in need of a lightweight, long life and good sound headset! I will give it 4 stars out of 5 because they are a bit expensive but other than that really good.
