Handycam with Projector a little disapointing

By

from Colo. Springs, CO

I was somewhat disappointed because of the smaller size--"how can this tiny thing be worth $329?" So I have to adjust my beliefs. The quality seems pretty good. The PlayMemories Home took too long to upload to the computer and isn't near the quality of the other editing progams. But the camcorder records well and it's interesting. But then when I learned the remote is backordered until the first of April I was sort of mad. But as far as the camcorder is concerned it's a good product. Instead of the Projector (which would waste a lot of battery life) I would rather that the camcorder had the features I had on my first Handycam special effects such as: mosaic, solarization, pastel. There were a lot of special effects this camcorder didn't have that I thought it would have when I bought it.

Questions about this item:

brandon r  I It New?
ANGELI W  Yes, it is new. Don't forget to buy video card.
John D  Can this camera be used as a projector for a presentation to be shown which is stored on a MAC?
TRACY H  John - based on my experience the projector is not powerful enough to be used as a projector for more than a handful of people huddled around the image being projected. If you move the camera back far enough to make it larger, it simply isn't intense enough to make it usable for the video images from the camera itself, or in your case media from your Mac. Hope this helps, th
