Very nice and big Alarm Clock Radio But not include internal support for 220V-240V as In Israel so I had to buy 220V to 110V Power Transformer for 6 US$ in addition...

I really liked this clock radio because of the big number display(very easy to see even without my glasses) and I liked the slimmer design. I wasn't crazy about the second alarm tone(can't set to radio)but I was even ok with that. My biggest problem was how the clock radio adjusted itself to daylight saving time on March 7,2012(a few days early)so my alarm went off at 4:25am instead of 5:25am. My husband was ready to leave for work at 5am and only realized the alarm was wrong when he put the tv on.

This clock is supposed to set itself, presumably using the time signals broadcast by the government on shortwave radio frequencies. For about 2-3 months it was spot on, even when coming back from a power failure. Ever since then, it has been getting gradually worse in keeping the correct time to the point where it's almost 10 minutes fast now. Makes the clock useless when you have to keep resetting the alarm to a different time to wake you up at the proper time.

I am from India, and always wanted to get such a alarm clock. However, I was highly disappointed. As soon as I connected it, it went dead in 2 mins. I really respect Sony for the quality and have always been a loyal customer. Since I am located in India and I cannot even return it back to US, I just lost $20 for no reason.

I am very impressed with this clock radio so far. I can't stand to have a bright light in the room at night, and am pleased with the dimmest setting. Everything works just as I expected and it has all major features I was looking for. I look forward to using this for very many years. Thanks Sony.

This is a great value, featuring good sound and solid design. The display is readable without my glasses. You can adjust the brightness. Something small but significant.....the shape of the "radio off" button is obtuse and easy to find with your eyes closed! Certain buttons are textured while others are larger or smaller. Overall, the controls are well-designed and easy to find in the dark. For less than $20, you can't beat the value. One complaint is somewhat fussy AM reception when compared to my previous clock radio. It's "OK", but my other radio was better. Also, the "wake to tune" sound on the 2nd alarm is cheezy and annoying.

the clock came with the correct time - just change the time zone and you are good to go! perfect size and sounds great
