This is overall a pretty great camera. If you like the footage from the new DSLR cameras then you should take a look at this camera. I do think it is a little poor in low light, even with the f2.8 wide angle lens. I was at a wedding a few weeks ago and had to use put a light on the camera during the ceremony. There is also no zoom rocker, so you have to zoom with the lens barrel which causes some noise in the audio. It also only records 12 minute clips, then puts them together into one clip, but there is a few frames missing when it pauses on its own (I believe this is its biggest down fall) and I cant believe Sony would let this happen to such a great camera style. That being said, there are a number of old Minolta lenses available to use for about $20 on eBay with wide apertures, but you will need an adapter. It has great auto focus. The sound is absolutely amazing, sounded better than my zoom h4. The footage is really great when you have it dialed in correctly, it has a lot of auto options available if you don't want to do full manual. I bought it from Adorama about a month ago as a demo and overall am very happy with the purchase. I can work around the limitations, but I hope Sony makes some firmware improvements.
