My 2 year old loves it. She carries it around everywhere. Its very easy to carry and protects the IPad from damage.

I don't let my kids have their iPad all the time, but when I do I want to know it is protected. Kids are not perfect and neither are adults but this case is pretty close! I have had toddlers tugging on it, dropping it, throwing it, etc from ages 1-6 years old and the cases have held up. I am only disappointed that they changed it to make a new case that I am not impressed with and don't feel like it would have the same protection so I am not buying it. Please make these again for the newest iPads.

My friend loved the small iGuy for her smartphone, but sadly the iPad version doesn't work so well. It tips over at the slightest bump and the arms are not stiff enough for my daughter to hold. I'm glad to have some level of protective foam around the iPad, but that's pretty much all it's good for.

This case is all I aim to be. Big, basic, spongy, tough, useful... Yeah, that's me. Max stars because we connect, this case and me... My boy is a lover, not a crusher. But he is still as destructive, if not more destructive as his old man. He has his ways. Speck has prevented many dollars worth of repairs an replacements for his iPad.

I used this on my iPad and it doesn't protect like my other case that has been through a lot. My son was tripped and carrying Ipad in this case...and it shattered. Now I am paying $249.00 for an iPad replacement. So bummed should've went with otter box...at least they replace a product if damaged using their cases :(

I needed a new cover that was easy to remove for a drawing app that it for Christmas. I can't let my two year old have the iPad without a cover. This was the perfect solution. I can take it out and use it with relative ease and replace it just as easily. The only problem is the power cord is difficult to access. It is under the arm and the case is thick and the opening is just slightly off. With some work it will still plug in.

We have an original iGuy we bought over 3 years ago and the thing is still going strong! The only height our young son has not dropped it from is the open door of an airplane!! He has dropped it out of shopping carts, off the second floor balcony of our home, bounced it down the stairs like a slinky and thrown it across the floor just to watch it bounce like a ball. One of his favorite things to do is throw it on the ground to prove to people just how well it protects his iPad. He's correct...the first generation iPad that is well cushioned within the walls of the iGuy is still going strong! My husband and I thought it was a little pricey when we first bought it but it has more that paid for itself these last 3 years!! So much so that we are buying an iGuy for our son's iPad mini!! His original iGuy is not as shiny and pretty as it once was but it's as strong and protective as the day we got it.

I have three kids and needed something to protect my iPad but also be durable to withstand the forces of a 4, 7 & 10 yr old! Was a little Leary about the price but when I recieved our purple IGuy in mail, it's the best purchase we ever made & totally worth the price! This thing get's terrorized on a daily basis & is still going! Not a chunk out of it yet & no arm break off!! Totally Rocks!!

This is the greatest, fabulous, fantastic, best, life-saving case ever! iGuy has given unquestionable security for my not-so-secure fingers and saved my tablet from hundreds of falls! Whether sitting or lying down, the handles make it easy to hold and the 'rubber' makes it safe when I fall asleep. This 60-year-old cannot say enough good things about this product ... except that I wish they had it for Samsung Tab S!

We are so happy to have this case for our 3 years old's iPad mini. It is soft but durable. He lives that he can hang on to it by holding an arm and the arms are totally flexible. We get tons of compliments on it and are always encouraging other parents to try it

When I purchased an iPad for my 2 year old son son my wife was crazed, ""he'll destroy it, it will be completely trashed in a week. before I gave the iPad for X-mas I purchased an iGuy and had a ghost armor srceen protector installed and gave him the iPad setup. the iGuy has kept his iPad in pristine condition and made it more fun and user friendly for a toddler and he takes his iPad EVERYWHERE!! thanks you speck for making a superior product. Accessing the charger port is very cumbersome and I need to remove the unit everytime to charge to not drive myself nuts with unplugging. Wish they made this for the Nexus 7 & 10 as were moving to those models for the kids.

The iGuy is great. Great for ""young children"" and children at heart, like myself. I keep him standing upright and plugged in to my stereo, so he's been accidentally knocked off quite a few times, but no damage to my iPad! It's a great decorative piece ;)

I bought two of these for my four year olds. Great for little hands and drops on the hard wood floors. highly recommended. Charger is a little bit of work to get in but overall a very good product.

It's great for kids. But to acces the charge port, ear plug port, and so on make it very children unfriendly, and irritating. We have a case for regular use, and one for more high use(I.e. travel). I cannot imaging much testing went into access ability. If you want something cute, it's something fun. Not something I have recommended to others, I have encouraged others to look at other products.

Love the iGuy! It is nearly indestructable! FYI for future designs -- you need to take the cover off to securely charge the battery, you should build a better slot to accept the charger adapter.

This Case works great, it does do the job you need it to its easy for kids to handle. My issue is with when my son dropped the iPad in the case the top corners have no protection even though it looks like its got lot i can clearly say it does not provide any shock protection. So i wont fault them for it even though it clearly states on their website ""He may look like he_Ñés all about fun, but his soft, squishy body disguises tough EVA foam protection."" So i am disappointed because its my fault for letting it fall. Oh well live any learn.

I got this for my daughter and it's held up great! She's a toddler and she loves carrying her iGuy by his hand and taking the iPad with her. It also makes it so when she holds the iPad she doesn't accidentally touch the sides of the screen and select something she didn't want. Great product!

I bought two of these for my kids as I am giving them both 1st gens for Christmas. Guess what... Doesn't stand. I think the gen 1 must be a little back heavy. If you are looking for a free standing model... I don't think this is the one for you.
