The Sea & Sea YS-27DX Strobe was designed specifically for digital cameras. It synchronizes with the included fiber optic cord for a flood free connection. Lightweight and compact this is the perfect strobe for small camera systems. The fiber optic sync cord can be customized for a variety of digital camera housings from Canon, Sony, Olympus, Ikelite and Sea Life. The fiber optic cable transmits light from the cameras built-in flash to the slave sensor on the strobe.

The kit comes with a fiber optic cable for each strobe; they connect together, then attach to the housing in front of the built-in flash. The included Sea & Sea Strobe Mask Set is used to attach the included Sea & Sea Fiber Optic Cables to many manufacturers' underwater housings. The mask blocks the on-camera flash from exposing your subject. This prevents back-scatter. The grommet allows the cable to be attached in front of the on-camera flash so the light will trigger your external strobe.

This full featured strobe offers exposure control with a 9-step manual control. All you need to do is set your aperture to match the number on the control. If your images are a little too light or dark just dial the power up or down. Using two strobes makes it easier to have even lighting for wide-angle photography.

The included Sea Arm VII is constructed with fiberglass-reinforced plastic resin offering a lightweight yet strong arm. With the included components, you can create a custom arm setup for your lighting needs. The tray is included
