Sea & Sea YS-30 II TTL Duo Underwater Flash, Sync Cord Not Included.

The YS-30 II TTL Duo cordless is a compact, efficient TTL strobe, perfect for macro photography, that can now take nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries for better performance and for economical and environmentally sensitive operation.

It features an improved over-pressure relief valve for safety. Its small size makes it useful in confined environments like caves where larger strobes get in the way and makes it perfect for macro photography where the strobe must be close to the subject. The YS-30 mounts on multi-strobe rings for multi-strobe photography.

The YS-30 II TTL Duo works with alkaline, nickel cadmium (Ni-Cad), and NiMH batteries. With 2 AA Ni-MH batteries in place, the full-power-release recycle time is approximately 2 seconds.

When the strobe is in TTL mode, it recycles even faster to help capture quick consecutive images. Under Ni-MH batteries the strobe can fire 300 times at full power.

The built-in Duo circuit allows this strobe to work in TTL mode with both 5-pin and 4-pin Sea & Sea cameras and housings.

The YS-30 TTL II Duo also works as a cordless TTL slave strobe: With a main TTL strobe connected to the camera, the YS-30 will fire in TTL mode without a cord when mounted in a multi-strobe ring or a similar mounting.
