The Safari 8x30 Pro is a wonderful all-purpose outdoor companion, and is Steiner's 'entry level' porro prism binocular. However, what constitutes as entry-level from this German manufacturer could qualify as a premium optic from others. With improved ergonomics, the 8x30 Safari Pro is pleasant to handle and view with for longer time periods. Thanks to its 6.9° viewing angle and pronounced depth of field, it is a perfect choice for use at outdoor sporting events, concerts, and general landscape viewing.
