The Pelican Storm iM2500 is a Watertight, Padlockable Case. The iM2500 meets airline carry-on regulations by fitting under seats and in overhead compartments. The Storm Trak series boasts uniquely rugged, yet lightweight, telescoping handles that lock in place plus rugged in-line wheels for ease of transport. It is more than just watertight, padlockable and made in the USA, it also Unconditionally Guaranteed for Life. The case provides the safest transportable environment for sensitive, expensive or vital equipment.
Padded polyethylene divider sets provide extra security and are perfect for creating custom compartments within a standard Storm Case keeping your delicate equipment safe, separate and stable. These sets are ideal for transporting cameras and lenses, medical equipment, fishing reels and lures any gear that needs padded protection and benefits from organized compartments.
Sturdy hook-and-loop fasteners make adding or removing dividers easy, allowing you to rearrange compartments at will giving you unlimited layout options. Divider sections are covered in a water-resistant, PVC-coated nylon fabric and can be configured and reconfigured to meet your exact (if changing) needs. A host of other features including extra-thick padding on the base and outer walls, polyethylene wall stiffeners below large partitions and convoluted foam for case lids ensure that these divider sets provide the ultimate in custom-cushioned protection.
This is my third STORM case. Great product. Used the 2500 on our 4 wheeling trip to Wyoming. Best case I have ever used for a rugged enviroment.
Planning to use the product as a demo/sample case for our products for our sales people in the field. The heavy duty construction of this case and compactness and professional look makes it ideal. Like the fact that 2 cases can be 'locked' together back-to-back using a simple strap.
This is a perfect size to use as top case luggage on a motorcycle. I make custom motorcycle modifications and provide this to my customers. It is waterproof, lightweight for it's features, easily transported, and is airline carryon qualified. Not a better product out there for my uses.
I purchased this case to hold portable lighting kit for speedlights. It is great to roll to photo location. It hold just what I need. It can be a little heavy to lift. Difficult to roll over uneven terrane which may require lifting it to the location.
This case is used transporting my tools from one job to another.

As a commercial photographer I am often asked to travel in order to conduct a session. Because I use PCB Einsteins which are not available for rent at most agencies I carry them on flights in this case. It will fit four lights and protects the gear well. I don't like to leave anything to chance so being able to carry both my strobes and camera gear on board gives me a very secure feeling. I could not be happier with this case.
The bright yellow colour helps me stay in touch with my gear...it would be hard to run off unnoticed with this case in hand.
This case has been nothing short of great - i have had no issues using this case for carry on - i have even dropped it a couple of times, lens' were fine!!
I bought this case hoping to use it as an airline carry-on replacement for my pelican 1520, which does not have wheels. Although it meets the size requirements, the case falls short of being useful for camera gear. The interior padding against the walls is so thick that you loose more than an inch of premium space. This wouldn't be necessary if the padding was higher quality. In addition, the dividers that come with it are designed so there are very few ways you can configure the interior (it comes with 2 dividers that only go the length of the case and the rest only cover 1/3 of the width, there is nothing in-between.) If you configure it as suggested, it will work great for lenses and accessories that are 1/3 the width of the case and are all the same size, but not an actual shooting kit where the lens is attached to the camera and the rest of the gear is all different sizes. The actual dividers are so flimsy that they were not only difficult to work with, but provide almost no protection between two pieces of gear. I also purchased the lid organizer and found that I couldnt use it with a camera in the case without risking damage to the top of the camera because the pockets hang down too far with anything in it. If I hadnt tried so many different ways to configure the case (during which I used the velcro) I would have returned it. I am now using the case for long term storage of gear that I dont use often, but need to keep around for awhile longer.
