The Sunpak Air-Bak Focus Backpack (Black) uses a support system that adjusts to the body shape and alleviates weight load pressure to provide maximum comfort. An air chamber goes down the base and back of the pack to help alleviate the weight. The backpack is made to carry and protect various types of photo gear. A lumbar support can be adjusted by using an air pump.
The Focus Backpack uses built-in Air-Bak technology that is made from 800 denier nylon and 1680 denier ballistic nylon trim exterior. It has interior EVA molded mesh padding and a 420 denier nylon lining. The main compartment has removable, interior dividers used to customize the pack. Release straps are adjustable with push locks to secure additional accessories.
The pack has a top compartment that has multi-zipper storage accessory compartments. A bottom compartment with 4 dividers holds the gear. It has a large front main pocket, slip pockets on the side, water bottle pockets on both sides and 3 exterior zippered pockets. There is a cell phone pocket and a MP3 player or iPod pocket in the top compartment. A zippered pocket is located inside the bottom compartment. The backpack is carried by wide contoured shoulder straps with added padding, waist straps and a slightly padded strap handle.

The lower part of the bag seperated along the zipper within 2 months of lite use and although the tag on the bag said life time warranty after over a year and 5 contacts with airbak they still will not replace the bag. The warranty as wortless as the bag. If you but anything from Sunpak assume there is no warranty
I have to edit my previous review. 47 days later and 8 inches of fabric from the lower part of the bag has separated from the zipper. JUNK CONSTRUCTION. Of course it is just outside of Adorama return policy so they would not accept the return and referred me to Sunpak. Good luck trying to get Sunpak customer service. Voice mail only. Not only has Sunpak lost a customer but so has Adorama as I feel their policy like better retailers should cover damaged goods by poor manufacturing for a longer period of time.
I have owned a lot of bags, this by far is one of the best values for the price. It holds a ton of gear. The lower compartment I have my camera w/lens and 4 others, up to med sized (Sigma 70-300mm) lenses. with storage for cables or whatever in the pouch above. The top compartment is well laid out and here again has enough room to hold a lot of other gear. Then there's the outside zippered sections, more than I have items to put in them right now. This is the most comfortable backpack I have ever owned. The addition of the air bag in the lumbar region is great. I use the two rings on the adjustment straps with carabiners attached to my camera strap loops to hang my camera. That makes it more comfortable carrying my camera then having the camera hanging from my neck and yet the straps are long enough I can quickly bring my camera to eye level for shooting.
