it is plastic

I bought 10 for a class of kids learning to use small point and shoot for videos - Its a quick release so you can change cameras quickly -however its so flimsy that the lock button pulled off 2nd use and once this happens you can not use tripod and is garbage - the pod lastd 15 mins - i returned the other 9 for credit.. This product can be considered junk. unless you are very very carefull with small cheap plastic fittings
