I picked up a Sun Pak 6400 tripod at the local thrift store. It was minus the quick release. Found that Adorama has them in stock for the SunPak 6000 to 8000 tripod. This quick release slipped into the tripod head with no problem. Mounted a camera and attached the combo to the tripod, rock solid. Very pleased with this quick release. Need to order another one as a spare.

I needed replacements for my Sunpak 2001UT. I could not find an exact match, however by close visual study of the 6001/8001, I found them to be perfectly applicable.

I wasn't sure what to expect, since my tripod model was out of production and all other plates seemed to be described as "compatible", but the plates I received were exact reproductions of the original part. Even came in a Sunpak logo bag. Maybe not the same mold, but everything was the same size and materials. Over time, the cork in the plate loses its grip, and these new ones are nice and tight. The price I paid in December 2016 was ($) each, which made them a good deal. I bought 2 so I would have to search for them again in the future.

The part was hard to find. I needed to replace this part. Adorama was the only store with the item in stock. I have shopped Adorama several times and found their products to be excellent and the service outstanding.
