Monolights

I bought these about a year ago and have been very pleased. I have two and I find them to work very well in my studio and occasionally on site. I have used them to set up a photobooth at a bar a few times and they fired all night long no problems. I do not use the modeling light! I think they would run hot if you did. Great Starter Kit for sure

• The Smith-Victor FlashLite FLC300 Constant Color 300 Watt/Second Monolight is designed for professionals and amateurs alike. Smith-Victor's newly redesigned monolights offer a wide range of features at affordable prices.
• For basic setups, choose Smith-Victor's 45 watt-second 45i, or the 110 watt-second 110i. When more power is needed, the full-featured FLC200 and FLC300 will meet your needs with 200 or 300 watt-second power.
• Both of these Monolights offer infinitely variable flash power settings. They incorporate On/Off switchable 100 watt modeling lights, and include 15 foot power cords, and 15 foot sync cords, a test button, ready light and optical slave for wireless triggering. Plus, the flash tubes for the FLC200 and FLC300 are easily replaceable.
